Having served twelve years on the Board of Education, eight years years as President, she is keenly aware of the needs of our district and the children it serves. She understands the challenge of balancing those needs with being fiscally responsible to taxpayers. During her time on the Board she promoted the implementation of universal all-day kindergarten and jump started what has blossomed into the many much needed school building renovation projects. Sharon's tireless dedication to ALL our residents is what makes her the right choice to lead this City as Mayor."
